Most Vespa models before the P-Series had electrical systems ranging from troublesome to downright problematic. We've sourced a stator and flywheel combo which fits most 60s and 70s largeframes, converting your bike to electronic ignition and giving you a single power-out wire for the lighting.Unlike other suppliers for similar kits, we've had them modified so they are a simple bolt-on system, with no modifications needed by the owner to mount them. Ignition timing is set by simply choosing which hole you put one of the stator screws in. There are holes for 18, 22, 26 or 28° before Top Dead Center...and all without using a protractor or timing light!
For lighting, the "single wire out" system works great with our conversion harness (sold separately). The system can be run as either 12 volts with some flicker at idle or 6 volts with bright lights from idle to full speed.
This kit comes with stator, flywheel, flywheel fan, flywheel tool, CDI, coil and CDI/coil mounting bracket.
